Korona Escape Film

Our task was to make something more than an ordinary TV spot – we were to create a cinematic experience by producing a 4-minute-long film to run in cinemas and web, and its TV format cutdowns.

The challenge  was to manage the budget for a complex short-film production, to find a commercial director, yet one with great cinematic skills and feel, unique casting, and to provide a high-quality look and sound of the film. After a long and intense pitch, a production house was chosen, who could manage to provide the high standard of service.

The shooting was held in and outside Prague. Four days, locations varied from studio turned into apartment, to the beautiful interior and exterior of Prague central railway station, from specially furnished train car to depict the chase, to the grand helicopter shot of a train running over the bridge. Thanks to the talent of the Czech actors, director from Australia and a Scandinavian cameraman, we got a high-quality emotional film, to let the viewer have a great cinematic experience. But more important, we were the first in Ukrainian market to use the short film format for a TV ad.
